Gleaners Food Bank
The food bank was started in 1986 by several area churches, and is
run by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Among other duties, the Board seeks funding from various foundations.
The name Gleaners is Biblical in origin (Leviticus 19: 9-10)

Gleaners Tri-County Food
Network
In addition to being a "food bank", we are also the Tri-County
Food Network, and a member of the Quinte Regional
Food Share Shelter QRFSS

Our Challenges
We are continually
challenged in obtaining ongoing funds for warehouse/food bank
operations.
St. Michael's Parish has generously donated our home for the past
19 years. This support is greatly appreciated!
Gleaners counts on the community to give, and show their
support by participating in upcoming events. Funds raised
from these activities are crucial to our continuance, and growth
in serving those in need.
