Among other duties, the Board seeks funding from various foundations.

United Way - I believe in my community. I believe that its success depends on the people who live in it. That everyone has something to contribute. That everyone deserves respect. That everyone's potential can be realized. That diversity is vital. That every person has value. That everyone needs help and everyone can offer help. That a safe, supportive community is everyone's responsibility. I believe in possibility.

Food Banks Canada - Is a member organization of food banks in Canada. Founded in 1987, Food Banks Canada's membership is made up of 10 Provincial Associations and over 450 local food banks. The organization's mission is to "enable an effective food bank community that addresses the short term need for food and longer term solutions to reduce hunger in Canada". It operates a number of programs such as the National Hunger Awareness Day, HungerCount, a research report on food bank use in Canada, and a Safe Food Handling program for food banks.

Ontario Association Of Food Banks -Our membership includes over 100 food banks across the province, from villages and small towns to major city centres. All of these food banks are dedicated to serving their communities. But many must do their work with limited financial and human resources. We work to provide assistance to all of our members through the delivery of support programs so that they can build their capacity to serve their neighbors.

Ontario Trillium Foundation - The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a catalyst that enables Ontarians to work together to enhance the quality of life in their communities. We believe that communities across Ontario are rich in talent, creativity and drive, and our grants stimulate communities to build on these assets.

Volunteer & Information Quinte - Volunteer & Information Quinte provides a free information hotline. We offer direction to individuals that are seeking services. We manage a database, including over 1,200 different listings of service providers in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, and a database of summer camps across Ontario and local summer programs.

OUR COMMUNITY - Our community, (Churches, Service Groups, Agencies, Schools, Businesses, Companies, Grocery stores, Farms) support Gleaners  in a variety of ways such as food drives, cash donations, gift donations, In Memorials, Estate bequests and special events. We are blessed to live in such a caring community.
