ATTENTION: We ask that those requesting food to please ARRIVE prior to 11:30am on Weekdays and prior to 8:00 on Wednesday Evenings to ensure that their order is processed in time.

Important Information

During morning hours clients must arrive by 11:30am for processing. On Wednesday evenings we are open for working families and students only. Clients will be asked to provide student ID or proof of employment on Wednesday evening. Clients must arrive Wednesday evening by 8:00pm for processing.

Michelangelo’s Café

The Café is open during food bank operation hours.

Community Outreach Office

Gleaners now offers a space for community outreach. We invite various services and programs into our agency during operating hours to provide resources and information to our clients. Currently, the Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health offers various programs such as Immunization, Smoking Cessation, Dental Clinic and Naloxone services.

If your agency, service or program would like to access this space please call 613-962-9043 for available dates. This is an excellent way to reach more clientele and provide programming and services to those that may be harder to reach.

Food Bank Closures

All services will be closed during the following times:

July 1 – July 12, 2019    Services will re-open on July 15 at 9:00 a.m.

Dec. 23, 2019-Jan. 3 2020. Services will resume Jan. 6 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
