Due to COVID-19, our Annual City Wide Food Drive is Cancelled.

This is one of the most important events we host each and every year. The donations we receive from our community helps stretch our dollars further and we collect upwards of 6 months worth of food. We know our community is extremely generous and we appreciate all the helping hands during these unprecendented times.

If you're looking to still donate, there are a few ways you can do so!

Monetary Donations can be completed online through our website here. We also accept cheques (mailed to: 25 Wallbridge Crescent, Belleville, Ontario, K8P1Z3), cash donations (in-person) and E-Transfers (send to: donations@gleanersfoodbank.ca).

Non-Perishable Food Donations can be dropped off at our location Monday to Friday from 9am until 3pm. Please go to the left side door of the building and ring the bell. As well, you may also drop off donations at each of the grocery stores in the Belleville area as these barrels are regularly emptied. Our most needed items at this time are: peanut butter, apple juice, canned tuna, pasta and pasta sauce, canned stew, canned baked beans, soups, canned fruit, gluten free and dietary items

Fresh produce is always welcomed and we ask you to drop all fresh produce at our building.

Did you know?

In 2019, Gleaners provided more than 5700 hampers to those in need? This helped over 2000 families feed their households. 

The annual city wide food drive provides us with our largest donation of staple items each year. By having this food drive, Gleaners is able to re-direct their funds to purchase more protein, fruits and vegetables for their clients.
