Due to COVID-19, Shamrocks on the Wall was unfortunately postponed, but now we're back and we're hosting this event on virtual platforms! There are two ways to be involved in this fundraising event:

Virtual Auction:

Starting Monday July 20th at 12pm (noon), 12 baskets will be released through our Facebook page. These baskets will be available online until Sunday July 26th at 12pm (noon). No bids will be accepted after this. The winning bids will be collected and the individuals will be contacted to collect their prizes.

Chance to win the Gold:

Starting Monday July 20th until Friday July 31st at 12pm (noon), you will have the chance to test your luck in winning the one ounce of gold (generously donated by Michael Moffat of RBC Dominion Securities).

Shamrock Packs:

5 Shamrocks for $10.00

10 Shamrocks for $20.00

30 Shamrocks for $50.00

A staff member will write your name and contact number on the back of each shamrock to enter you into winning the grand prize of Gold.

Please Note: Due to COVID-19, there are still restrictions in place. Each winner will be informed on how to safely pick their basket/prize up from our building.

In 2019, Gleaners Food Bank supported 2037 families, 4842 children, 8394 adults and 1003 seniors. We provided 5721 food hampers and registered 931 new clients for food assistance. We distributed over 157,500 Kilograms of food to the Quinte region including members of the Quinte Regional Food Share Shelter, meal programs and non-profit agencies. The proceeds from this campaign support food purchasing, operations and programs.
